ANALYTICAL ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY- due June 2nd, 2022
- The annotated bibliography will consist of the sources that that relevant to the nursing faculty shortage in the southeast United States (for example, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama)
- First, begin with a brief introduction to the nursing faculty shortage.
- The citations should be organized in alphabeticalorder by the author just as on an APA reference page.
- For each annotation, first, cite the source in proper APA format.
- Follow with a brief annotation that summarizes the source. You may quote from the source, but do not copy and paste the abstract.
- In one or two sentences, explain the source’s relevance and importance to your issue. Include a brief analysis of the article’s strengths and weaknesses.
- The annotation for each source should follow an academic style. This means that you must construct, with an elevated and sophisticated language, grammatically correct sentences that effectively summarize what each source contains. Additionally, you should explain how each source is relevant to the issue that you have selected, and what it adds to your knowledge about your issue.
- Specific guidelines to follow when completing this document:
- annotations should be generated from 7-10 varied sources of literature(book/volumes, academic journals or periodical articles, websites of organizations related to the topic of inquiry, newspaper articles, reference works [such as an encyclopedia], or popular news sources [CNN Online, The New York Times Online]). You MUST present annotations from at least six different types of sources.
- Sources should be focused on a narrowed issue or question of nurse faculty shortage
- The paper should reflect adherence to APA format for all citations.
- Sources should be presented in alphabetical order according to the author.
- Include thoughtful and complete annotations of 100-150 words for each annotation (excluding the citation).
- Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling must be evident.
- End with an APA-style reference list.
