Employers/administrators have ethical obligations to shareholders, but they also have ethical obligations to their employees, customers, suppliers, and the community. Corporations and labor unions have organizational cultures which often lend themselves to an unethical climate within the organization so making ethical decisions seems to “go against the grain” of the corporation or labor union. Pretend you are an administrator or a union official and discuss the balancing act you must achieve by assuring ethical decisions are made to all stakeholders.
