Doc from last writing to continue is attached. I need 660 or more words continuing on the topic of modern day segregation in education with more sources. Basically you are continuing on the topic with more information from the last doc. Make a new doc only including the additonal 660 words. I will add it on my self to the main one.
1. 1750-2,200 words (excluding annotations and captions) that includes in bold your revolution of values section and any additional new writing. Keep in mind that your final draft should be 2500-3000 words and the only draft left will involve multimodal additions and the inclusion and development of research and analysis on the existing draft structure. That means this should be a completed essay that has a clear structure that includes
–a dominant narrative analysis
–description and analysis of the problem’s effects
–description and analysis of the problem in context (e.g., how and from where it came about, how it is publicly situated)
–an argument for a revolution of values that can create meaningful change around the topic.
Some of these may be more or less developed than others, but there should be some effort to organize and develop them all.
2. a total of 8-12 sources cited and engaged IN TEXT (some sources can be paraphrased and cited at the end of a sentence; others should be introduced, quoted, and engaged in analysis, even comparison–there are many ways to engage a text. You should aim to demonstrate that you understand a variety of ways and that the style you’ve chosen reflects what you want for a source to do (e.g., give a statistic? just paraphrase and cite author at the end of sentence. Give an argument? Introduce author, give context for the work in which the argument is made, give the argument, connect it to your larger point. Give an anecdote? Introduce the source first (e.g., “In 2019 The NY Times reported on the story of Kalief Browder…” then mix paraphrase and quote for the rest).
3. Descriptive title, double-space, 1″ margins, MLA-formatting in-text
4. Images, properly captioned in MLA, single spaced, 10 point font (do not caption images whose meaning is self-explanatory, like political cartoons. Only caption protests if you are giving specific information about the protest–when, where, who, what, etc).
5. Include a works cited page and PROOFREAD (read aloud) for errors and missing information.
