Please pick one of these places, and describe it in terms we have mentioned in this class. I recommend you review especially the Six Essentials and the Five Themes from Chapter 1 for a starting point on how to approach places.
Just as in the class, you should start with the largest overview: locate your area in a world region, describe that world region, and what makes that specific area worth fighting over. Make sure you also describe who is involved in defining this place, and their respective historical claims to the place you chose. Finally, you should spend at least one page discussing the most recent events, as explained in the hyperlinks above and any other source you see fit.
The paper should be 5 pages long: double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman font, formatted using APA format.
It should also include a title page and an abstract page, plus a works cited page (even if you are not quoting any outside source).
That’s 8 pages total, and you should also add the Grammarly report for your paper as a separate attachment.
