Each question is a story of a situation. Your job is to use the information from lesson 1 through 7 to figure out what you do. Your answers should use the terms from the semester so that I can tell from your answer what lessons you used to put together the answer.
Case1:
A mother named Ana complains to the principal of a high school that her daughter Angie is getting bullied by other people from the school. The daughter is getting e-mails, text message and Facebook stories that are not true.
The principal asks the mother, what type of things are being said about Angie. Ana said from what she ready they are saying that she is ugly, stupid and is a failure.
She wants to know who cyberbullying Angie is and wants the people arrested.
The principal tells Ana that there are strict school polies against cyberbullying and will do what he can to find the people doing this. There are video cameras in the computer lab so that there is a record of who is in the lab. This video is stored in case they need to figure out a problem.
The principal asked Ana what time the e-mail came in.

Case 2:
There is an investment company called “Safe Retirement” (SR). SR advertises itself to people that will retire over the next ten years. I tell the public that their investments are safe and grow faster than putting your money in the bank.
SR buys rental properties to generate income. This income is returned to the investors as cash or more stock in the company.
There are account managers that handle the investments in each state. They are responsible for buying investment properties, renting them, and selling the ones that are not producing profits.
The manager of the east coast Bob is concerned that one of his account managers Bill is selling properties at below market value and buying others above market value.
Bob hires a private investigator Betty to investigate Bills accounts. Betty finds the following:
- Bill is selling the properties at one amount and reporting that the selling price was less to the company.
- Bill in buying properties above market value from friends and families.
- Bill isunderreporting the amount of rent being collected and transferring the extra money paid to his private bank account.

Case 3:
A company called Diamond-Laser make a new type of laser that can cut through skin better and faster than a scalpel. The laser heats the cut skin so that it does not bleed. Diamond-Laser had a patent on the technology, but they are worried about cybercrime. The Chief Executive Officer Donna Delgado is moving the company to a new site. The security at the new side in Denver must be top level. Donna knows other companies, hackers and countries will be trying to break in and get to the trade secrets.
Donna is hiring your security company Dynamic Security Systems. Your job is to advise on how the design the cyber security systems for the company.
