Reflection Letter

Write a letter below (use, as Giles suggests, “nice fat paragraphs”) where you consider these questions:

  • How did your writing process for Project 1 go? What went well? What went not-so-well?
  • What do you like about your project?
  • Who is the audience you’re imagining and what specific ways have you tried to make your summary and your message interesting to them?
  • Is there anything you’d like to say about your performance in a specific category on the assessment sheet?
  • What went well about the revision process? You might include peer review, consulting with Dr. Wright, using the revision worksheet, seeing a tutor, and anything else relevant. How might you improve on this next time?

Dear Dr. Wright,

[1] Make this a number — 92 or 85 or 73— based on the weighted categories. No need to get super mathematical, but if you don’t do social steps, you’re losing out on 25% of the grade. As long as you’re thoughtful in your assessment and haven’t done anything unethical or against assignment requirements, I’ll let it stand even if I disagree with you.
