  3. Use the distributive property to write each expression:

  4. Solve 2x – 3 > 4(x – 1) and graph the solution set.
  5. What is a linear equation?  Graph the linear equation y = 4x choosing 3 variable (-1, 0, 2).
  6. What are intercepts? Identify the (x, y) intercepts for problem #5.
  7. What is the slope of a line? and the formula of a slope? Find the slope of a line (-3, -1)
  8. and (3, 1).
  9. Write an equation of the line that wraith each given slope, m, and y-intercept, (0,b):
    1. m = 5, b = 3         b. m = -3, b = -3
  10. Find f(-2), f(0), f(3) for each function:
    1. f(x) = x
    2. f(x) = 2x – 5
