Part 3

To complete Part 3, Papers should be typed, written in full sentences, include proper grammar/spelling, in 12 pt. font with 1” margins, and double spaced.  Include a reference page using APA style.  Ensure that your paper contains coverage of, at minimum, the below topics.  Paper should be at least 3 pages in length (excluding cover and reference pages) and topics fully discussed/covered.  Ensure that you use official sources to locate your information.

  • Typical duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Most common qualifications of the position (skills, education, work history, age, etc.)
  • Testing/checks required to be eligible for the position (physical fitness, background check, polygraph, etc.).
  • Salary ranges for the position.
  • Job outlook for the position (job growth/reduction).
  • Soft skills needed to be successful in the position.
  • Identify how you will build a positive and professional online presence.
  • Identify and discuss three skills/areas that you will need to work on to become better qualified for and prepared for this position, and your improvement plans.
