Critically assess one topic (or a combination of topics) of your choosing from those discussed throughout the semester with a focus on its related moral implications. Your topic can be an elaboration of the one you chose for your midterm essay or a completely new examination of any issue from our sections on ethics. Whatever topic you choose, your essay must focus on the major ethical theories and moral dilemmas that arise, e.g. the ethics of AI, the ethics of religious belief, or what it means to be virtuous in modern society. This can really be the ethics of anything you are interested in.

Your paper must have an original title, introduction, subheadings, and a conclusion. You must also cite material from the relevant assigned readings, mention points from the lecture discussions, and utilize some external (academic) source(s). As usual, I am much more interested in your own reasoning than your summary of respective theories, so keep your introductions, background, and summaries short. Make sure to use quotes to support your reasoning and consider counter arguments throughout your paper.

Crucial Information to know: The main task that is stated directly above is meant to be a general main task for a topic of my choice. The topic I chose is completely seperate from my mid-term essay and it is: Philosophy of Religion. Please remember this before starting the essay.
