RESEARCH ESSAY
First draft
- The essay should include at least 2 sources referenced in a bibliography using the MLA format
- It should be at least 1000 words long.
- The subject, of course, has already been chosen, and the thesis statement should be sent to me as soon as possible.
- As mentioned earlier, the first draft’s due dateis Wednesday,March 16th.
- I will ask you to use Turnitin to hand in the essay (instructions to follow)
The peer review
- Once essays are in, I will ask each student to comment on another student’s essay.
- I will also provide comments on your first draft.
- Instructions will be given later regarding the type of comments that have to made
- The peer review will also be uploaded to Turnitin.
- The due date for the peer review is April 13th.
Final version of the essay
- The final version of the essay is due no later than May 9th. You can hand it in much earlier, at your convenience.
